The Ouroboros Effect

Everything has a beginning, and an end. From birth to death, from migrational patterns of whales, birds, and butterflies, to the very closed-system state of our universe. One cannot quite escape this fact, but one needs not to embrace this reality. It is always in our nature to attempt to break free of this cyclical state of some form or fashion; one can suprise others by actually suceeding. Of course, this in turn creates a new cycle for the process to begin anew.

Corollary Effect: Personal Ouroboros

Everything you do will eventually either pat you on the back, or bite you in the ass.

Quixotic 1

"It is the Nature of Man (yes, I'm talking about the gender here) to dare his friends to do stupid things. Among the great list of stupid things that Man has dared Man to do is eat things that should not be eaten. Oddly enough, this all stems from Adam daring Eve to eat one of those apples, and she accepted because it was better than all those fart jokes he kept making. And so it has been from the beginning of Man that Man has eaten the strangest things, and in such Man began to eat such oddities as Oysters, Pigs Feets, Snails, and, perhaps strangest of all, Hot Dogs.

Man's Nature to dare Man to eat stupid things and Man of course responding by doing so has led God to simply give up and go off into the bathroom to cry."
