Chunky Monkey, Cold Stone-Style

It's been too long for this monkey to post here. My (virtual) bananas seem to have de-evolved to the point where there's virtually a civilization of fruit flies right where they were. (And judging from the sounds, they seem to have reached Iron Age pretty recently. I shall have to strike back with bottleflies wielding flintlock rifles soon.)

So, with a sweep of the aforementioned hairy arm, I shall update accordingly.

I have several projects roasting nicely over the stove, thanks to past pickling in my own creative juices:

1) BreedWiki - a conversion project of Werewolf to HERO that also doubles as a php/mySQL project. It has reached a critical point--the basic code is fairly stable and I can edit pages whenever I like. Next step: flesh out the rest of the code and gather up the conversion notes to post.

2) The World of the Eight Sages - a HERO worldbook project. Currently it's simmering off to the side--I haven't touched it in ages, but momentum may impell me to actually take a stab at starting some of the text at some point in the future. I did not forget what it's about; however, reading Hengeyokai: Shapeshifters of the East helped me in knowing what I need to avoid putting in it along with Jadeclaw.

3) Pirates of the Cerculean Ocean - another HERO worldbook, this time hosted with MediaWiki and is open-format. I need to try and think about how to approach this project and sell it correctly in hopes of starting a large enough database to attract users. We'll see--it's not an important project, but it's an interesting one, due to At World's End having come out. Who knows?

4) Pertho - a private gaming project. I can't say anything about it just yet. But I haven't forgotten about it.

5) New Type - a little painting project for a friend of mine. I agreed to give it a shot; now that the figures are here, I can go hunt up what I need to start it. (The tricky bit is to look for black Revoltech joints to replace these white ones--I don't think they come in gunmetal grey.)

6) Tales of The Poseidon Force - an epic that I've carried around in my head for years... and I think it's ripe enough to come out, chapter by chapter. Another one of those "we'll see" projects, but I feel confident enough to bang out a page or two every now and then.

Until all are one, true believers! /salute
